Cylinder Rasp Bars

The cylinder with bars is fitted with rasp bars with knurls to the left and to the right, placed alternately. If one bar needs replacing, the opposite bar must also be replaced not to unbalance the cylinder.

The bars have a small welding spot on each disk. To disassemble the bar, remove the welding with a grinder or a chisel. The new bar must also be welded the same way.

Tighten the bar fixing bolts to a torque of 78 Nm (7.8 kgm)(57 ft-lb).

IMPORTANT: Retighten the replaced bar fixing bolts after the first five hours work.

NOTE: When the bar grooves are under 4 mm deep replace them.
