IMPORTANT: Recommended service intervals are for average conditions. Service more frequently if combine is used in extreme conditions.

causym CAUTION: Shut off engine and remove starter key before executing any cleaning of machine.

Never perform any kind of work on fuel tank when engine is running. During this procedure it is extremely hazardous to smoke or switch on any electrical equipment!

1. Fully refill fuel tank at the end of each day of operation. This avoids the condensation of water inside the tank, which could clog the fuel injection nozzles.

IMPORTANT: The quality and cleanliness of fuel is an important factor in obtaining dependable performance and satisfactory engine life. Use commercial diesel fuel which should be in accordance with Standard EN590.

IMPORTANT: Clean fuel tank filler neck filter after filling.

2. Check the condition and cleanliness of the rotary screen daily.

3. Check the condition and cleanliness of the cab air conditioning and fan filter. Clean if necessary. Filters must be cleaned every 50 hours.

NOTE: This filter is located at right-hand side of cab access door.

4. Check vent plug condition on the front axle final drives. Clean if necessary.

5. Check condition and inflation of all tires. See "Recommended Tire Inflation Pressures".

NOTE: When combine is not being used, checks may be carried out weekly.

6. Bleed off water accumulated in the primary fuel filter.

7. Remove impurities deposited in the fuel tank decanter. To do so, loosen wing nut enough to allow sediment to bleed out.

8. Check cleaning shoe daily and clean if necessary. This will keep system performance high.

NOTE: Depending on the crop being harvested, it may be necessary to check the cleaning shoe during harvesting.
