Service points-Every 10 hours

IMPORTANT: Recommended service intervals are for average conditions. Service more frequently if combine is used in extreme conditions.

1. Check engine oil level by means of dipstick.

NOTE: Only check oil level after engine has been shut off for at least 30 minutes. See "Checking Engine Oil Level" for more details.

2. Check hydraulic system oil level. Check with header on ground. Oil level should be approximately at center of sight-glass. Add John Deere recommended oil if necessary.

3. Check hydrostatic drive oil level. Oil level should be approximately at center of sight-glass. Add John Deere recommended oil if necessary.

4. Check the air compressor oil level by means of the oil level plug. Add oil as needed.

NOTE: During the first 50 hours of operation the air compressor will have a higher oil consumption, therefore it is very important to check oil level daily and refill, if necessary. After the first oil change the consumption will be reduced.

IMPORTANT: In the event that the air compressor continues to consume a very large quantity of oil after 50 hours have expired, check for leaks in the connections and lines.

5. Check cooling system condition and coolant level. Add water and additives according to the

proportions specified in the "Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant" section.

IMPORTANT: Only refill cooling system with engine shut down and at ambient temperature.

NOTE: Change coolant every 2000 hours or 2 years.

6. Lubrication points. One point at each variable threshing cylinder speed drive pulley (without reduction gear).

IMPORTANT: These points must be lubricated with GREASE and pulleys closed. MOBILITH SHC 007 grease recommended.

7. Lubrication points. One on engine fan bearing and the other on the air compressor and air-conditioning drive shaft bearing.

8. Lubrication points. One point on each bearing of intermediate transmission of straw chopper.

9. Lubrication points. One point on each idler pulley and one point on straw chopper drive pulley.

10. Check cleanliness and service condition of all of the machine's lights.

NOTE: After roughly cleaning the lamp lenses, wipe with a cloth moistened in household alcohol for better lamp performance.
