Lateral Tilt System
Operation
The lateral tilt system operates integrated to Automatic Header Height Control system.
Header floats laterally up to an angle of 6° to each side.
Whenever one of the header's lower ends raises or touches the ground, the sliding shoe reacts and creates a movement that is mechanically transferred to support (B) by rod (A), moving magnet (C) along position sensor (D) that in turn sends an electrical signal to an amplifier. The amplified signal is sent to hydraulic control solenoid valve that engages or disengages the lateral tilt system.
