Preparing the Implements

IMPORTANT: When attaching category I implements to the tractor, it may be necessary to widen the stabilizers to prevent limiting the full raise of the hitch (see "Adjusting the Side Sway" in this section).

The category I three-point hitch is narrower than category II and is used with smaller implements than the category II ones.
Refer to the following table to identify the category of the implement.

Category II implements must have the top hole of the implement arm located 483 mm (19 in.) above the lower pins. Drill another hole in the upper arm and extend it as necessary.
