Adjusting Tread of Rear Wheels with Reversible Rims

The tread on rear wheels with multiple positions can be adjusted repositioning or changing the rims, inverting the wheel disks.

The tread can also be adjusted switching the whole wheel to the opposite side of the tractor. (This maneuver allows a concave to convex wheel position change without having to disassemble them). When changing rear wheels from one side to other, the arrow on side of tire must be pointing in the direction of forward travel.

The relation between wheel disk and rim according to required treads is illustrated on the following page. Carefully study diagrams before changing tread as this will reduce effort when performing this task.

IMPORTANT: After adjusting space between rear wheels, tighten bolts between disk and rim and between disk and hub. Drive tractor about 100 m (398 ft 96 in.) and retighten to specification.

Specification
