Towing Tractor
CAUTION:
NEVER tow a tractor at a speed greater than 16 km/h (9.9 mph). Ask an experienced operator to drive and brake the tractor.
IMPORTANT:
To prevent serious transmission damage, take the following precautions:
Be sure transmission/hydraulic system oil level is at full on dipstick check. If towing tractor with front wheels raised, increase oil by 1 liter (0.26 U.S.gal.) for every 90 mm (3.54 in.) that wheels are raised. DO NOT RAISE front wheels more than 305 mm (12.0 in.) above ground.
IMPORTANT:
If it is necessary to tow a tractor uphill or to free a mired machine under application of great traction force, remove front counterweights and install pin (D) in towing position.
Make sure the differential lock is engaged.
Confirm that the front-wheel drive is not engaged.
Make sure range and gearbox are in neutral.
NOTE:
After transportation of tractor, remove oil added for towing.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT TOW tractor for more than 16 Km/h if oil temperature is less than 0°C (32°F).
