Lubrication Points, Servicing and Inspecting

  • Check and clean primary insert of engine air filter.

    NOTE: Replace primary filter insert every three cleans.

    Whenever replacing primary filter insert, also replace safety insert (see "Service-Every Year" section).

  • Check condition of alternator belt (see "Service" section).
  • Replace fuel filter (see "Service-Every 250 Hours") section.
  • Drain water and sediment from fuel tank (see "Service-Daily or Every 10 Hours" section).
  • Check tire inflation pressure (see section 70 "Treads, Wheels and Tires").
  • Check charge and clean battery terminals.
