Air chute (A) allows the shoe to breathe more freely especially when the chopper is running on low speed. Depending upon harvesting conditions, grain tank quality may be enhanced and feeder house dust reduced.

Air chute agitator (B) prevents crop material from building up and plugging the air chute.
