Chopper Stationary Knifebank—Adjusting
CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.
Before performing service or maintenance on raised chopper, use lift
actuator to snap lock-out pins into place.

Knives can be adjusted to any position. Position of knives
determines cut length of material.
IMPORTANT: Knifebank must be in fully disengaged position for
corn.
To fully disengage knifebank, loosen wing nut (A) by rotating
counterclockwise and move adjustment handle (B) upward until knifebank
is at the bottom of the adjustment slot. Tighten wing nut by rotating
clockwise.
To fully engage knifebank, loosen wing nut (A) by rotating counterclockwise
and move adjustment handle (B) downward until knifebank is at the
top of the adjustment slot. Tighten wing nut by rotating clockwise.
NOTE: Chopper can be run with knives disengaged. however, cut
quality will decrease. Use intermediate position to optimize
power consumption and achieve satisfactory cut length.
