Moisture sensor (A) is located below the mass flow sensor in the top of the clean grain elevator. The sensor continuously measures the moisture of a small sample of the grain as it is conveyed through the clean grain elevator to the grain system.Mass flow sensor (B) is located in the top of the clean grain elevator housing in the grain tank. Harvested grain discharged from the clean grain elevator then deflects onto the impact plate. Mass flow sensor converts the force of the grain into an electronic impulse corresponding to the wet-yield unit/area unit.
