Determining Rolling Radius of Used Tires
  • Combine on solid ground.
  • Cutting platform connected.
  • Correct tire pressures.
  • Combine steering wheels in straight-ahead position.

1. Place mark on tire and ground. Marks must be in contact with each other.
2. Drive combine until marked tire has completed one revolution.
3. Transfer mark on tire to ground.
4. Measure distance (X) between ground marks. The distance (X) must be measured in inches for combines with machine code 83. The distance (X) must be measured in millimeters for combines with machine code 103.
5. Divide measured distance (X) by 6.28 .
