Adjusting Feeder House Slip Clutch

The slip clutch is adjusted by means of the pressure applied by hex nut (A) on the three disk springs (B), which then act on the clutch (C).

First loosen locknut (D) and hex nut (A). Then tighten nut (A) until distance (X) is 17.2 mm (0.68 in.). Tighten locknut (D) to 140-160 N·m (102.2 to 116.8 lb-ft).
