IMPORTANT: Recommended service intervals are for average conditions. Service more frequently if combine is used in extreme conditions.

causym CAUTION: Shut off engine and remove starter key before executing any cleansing of machine.

Never perform any kind of work on fuel tank when engine is running. During this procedure it is extremely hazardous to smoke or switch on any electrical equipment!

1. Check condition of fuel tank filler filter.

Fully refill fuel tank at the end of each day of operation. This prevents the condensation of water inside the tank that reduces the service life of the pump and injection nozzles.

IMPORTANT: The quality and cleanliness of fuel is an important factor in obtaining dependable performance and satisfactory engine life. Use commercial diesel fuel which should be in accordance with EN590 standards.

2. Check the condition and cleanliness of the rotary screen daily.

3. Check the condition and cleanliness of the cab air conditioning and fan filter. This filter is located at

right-hand side of cab access door. Filters should be cleaned every 50 hours.

4. Check the vent plugs of the final drives. Clean, if necessary.

5. Check condition and inflation of all tires. See table under "Tire Inflation Pressure" in "Wheels, Axles and Counterweights" section.

NOTE: When combine is not being used, checks may be carried out weekly.

6. Bleed off water accumulated in the primary fuel filter.

7. Remove impurities deposited in the fuel tank decanter. To do so, loosen wing nut enough to allow sediment to bleed out.

8. Check cleaning shoe daily and clean if necessary. This will keep system performance high.

NOTE: Depending on the crop being harvested, it may be necessary to check the cleaning shoe during harvesting.

9. Check that the performance monitor activated by the straw walker (B) and cleaning shoe (A) sensors functions correctly. See "Operational Check of Performance Monitor".

10. Check functioning of plugging alarm activated by sensors (C).
