Fan Speed SwitchThe fan speed can be increased or decreased by pressing the rocker switch as illustrated. This is only possible with the engine running at maximum rpm, separator engaged and the road safety switch in field position. Current fan speed is displayed on INFO-TRAK™ monitor. Maximum and minimum fan speed limit adjustment is electronically controlled by measurement of fan speed (limits: 530 rpm to 1150 rpm). Speed adjustment motor disengages if speed does not vary for 3 seconds; this protection is for speed increase and between 1000 rpm and 1150 rpm. Speed adjustment motor disengages if speed does not vary for 6 seconds; this protection is for speed reduction and between 650 rpm and 530 rpm. Changes to fan speed normally occur at a much slower rate that other speed changes because the fan is electrically and not hydraulically driven. Cab buzzer will sound (2 times) each time fan speed reaches a speed limit. |
