Reducing Straw Chopper Speed
When harvesting corn or sunflowers, impeller speed should be reduced.
1.
Open shields (A) and (B). More details in "Service-Drives and Shields" section.
2.
Loosen and remove pulley belt (C) by means of lever (D). Turn pulley belt (C) inside out, so that the inside is now facing outwards. This permits the correct alignment of the idler pulley wheels with the intermediate pulley wheels and impeller.
3.
Install belt to intermediate pulley (F). The smaller diameter drive pulley (F) is recommended for corn and sunflowers, while the bigger diameter drive pulley (E) is recommended for most other crops
4.
Install belt to pulley (H). The larger diameter pulley (H) is recommended for corn, while the smaller diameter pulley (G) is recommended for most other crops.
