Tension of Conveyor Chains - 600 Series Feeder House

1. Remove inspection covers (A) at upper part of feeder house.

2. Position float cylinder lever at corn position (B).

3. Using a tape measure check distance (X) between chain and inner surface of chain guide. Distance must be in the range from 215 to 219 mm.

NOTE: Support tape measure in a chain link with plain surface.

4. Loosen nuts (A) and (B) of float cylinder, do not remove.

5. Adjust rods through nut (C) so that distance (X) is 217 mm.

IMPORTANT: Adjustment must be executed on both sides of feeder house and simultaneously. Distance (E) must be the same on both sides of feeder house.

6. After adjusting, secure nuts (A) and (B) and return float cylinder lever to normal harvesting position.

7. Close inspection covers.
