Fuse Tester

To test fuses a tester was placed on the fuse circuit board proper, permitting a fuse's working order to be checked.

Remove any fuse that is believed to be defective and insert it in the "slot" (A). If the led (B) lights up the fuse is functioning perfectly.

IMPORTANT: Never use fuses with a higher current carrying capacity than the specified value. If fuses keep blowing in one circuit, have the combine electrical system inspected by your John Deere dealer.

NOTE: It is not necessary to engage the starter key to carry out the test, just ensure that the battery switch is ON.
