Four-Wheel Drive Switch
IMPORTANT:
Four-wheel drive can only be engaged with road safety switch in field position.
Four-wheel drive is used when an immediate increase of traction is required.
When four-wheel drive is engaged, a decrease in ground speed will be noted.
NOTE:
To improve overall system performance, it is recommended to operate combine with switch in position (I). This will reduce hydrostatic system pressure and oil temperature, increasing the system's service life.
Switch in position (I) will guarantee a slower ground speed but with high torque. This option is appropriate for wet or waterlogged conditions.
Switch in position (II) will guarantee a faster ground speed but with low torque. This option is appropriate for dry soil conditions.
NOTE:
To avoid possible system damage, combine is equipped with a device that disables four-wheel drive when third speed is engaged.
