Shutting Off the Engine

causym CAUTION: Always remove key before leaving operator's cab.

Never run engine without load for more than 5 minutes. Allowing the engine to idle at low rpm uses fuel inefficiently and can cause a build-up of carbon residue in the engine.

IMPORTANT: Before finally shutting off the engine, run at slow idle for 1-2 minutes to allow engine to cool.

  • Put the multifunction control handle in neutral.
  • Disengage all drives.
  • Engage parking brake.
  • Lower cutting platform to ground.
  • Put throttle rocker switch in position III.
  • Turn starter key to position "0".
