Towing the Combine

1. Prepare combine as shown under "Driving Combine on Public Roads".

causym CAUTION: Never tow combine with a wire rope. Always use a suitable towing bar. Connect towing bar to towing eye on front axle.

2. Tow combine at a safe and suitable gear, not to exceed 20 km/h (12.4 mph).

IMPORTANT: Towing at speeds above 20 km/h (12.4 mph) may damage tires, transmission and final drives.

NOTE: Comply with local traffic regulations when towing the combine, e.g. turn on hazard warning lights, display warning signs etc.

3. Release parking brake

4. Place gearshift lever in neutral position.

IMPORTANT: While towing, it is essential that gearshift lever is in neutral.
