Preparing for Replacement of Cylinder Variable Speed Drive Belt

With the engine at top speed and the threshing unit engaged, use the cylinder speed control switch to fully open the beater shaft pulley (lowest cylinder speed). Disengage the threshing unit and stop the engine.

causym CAUTION: Do not adjust belt while the engine is running.

IMPORTANT: Before any disassembly, thoroughly clean the area around the connector (C) and hydraulic hose (B).

1. Remove hydraulic hose (B) and connector (C). Loosen and remove the clean grain elevator drive belt (D) and the separator and cleaner drive belt (E).

2. Remove the idler (A). Move support and bolt down and secure in this position.
