Removing Cylinder Variable Speed Drive Belt on Combines without Reduction Gear
1.
On the beater's variable pulley, push the inner half pulley inward as far as possible.
2.
There are three M12 x 150 bolts (G) in the tool box. Insert these into the threaded holes in the outer half pulley (H) of the cylinder shaft. When the bolt ends touch the inner half pulley wheel, evenly tighten them and the two halves will begin to separate and stay in that position.
3.
Pull the belt with your hand over the outer half pulley wheel of the beater shaft pulley (do not force on belt).
NOTE:
Before removing the belt, check that the belt is fully seated at the bottom of the cylinder shaft pulley wheel rim.
4.
Pull the belt off over the cylinder shaft pulley. Dislocate the outer half pulley wheel of the cylinder shaft inward approximately 50 mm by unfastening the three bolts (G).
IMPORTANT:
After changing the belt, remove the three bolts and store them in the tool box.
5.
To install a new belt, follow this procedure in reverse order.
