Grain Separating Process

The threshing system is the most important component of the combine.

Adjust threshing cylinder speed and concave spacing according to harvesting and soil conditions.

Fine seeds and normal grain crops High threshing cylinder speed and narrow concave spacing.
Coarse crop Low threshing cylinder speed and wide concave spacing.
Front clearance X
Rear clearance Approximately 2/3 of X.

 

Adjust concave opening as described in "Adjusting Opening between Concave and Threshing Cylinder".
