Alternator Belt Tension

IMPORTANT: When working on the electrical system, always disconnect the ground cable. This prevents damage from occurring.

Belt (A) is tensioned by an automatic spring tensioner. See "Checking Engine Belt Tension" for more details.

NOTE: Have alternator checked by a specialized technician once every year.
