Installing Front Wheels
CAUTION:
PREVENT accidents. Install safety stop. Without safety stop (A) in place, the feeder house could fall without warning, causing serious injury by crushing or even death.
IMPORTANT:
Wheel assemblies are heavy, awkward to handle and difficult to control due to offset of tire and rim. Two service technicians are required for wheel removal.

1.
Raise front end of combine using jack, observing combine support points.
2.
Support combine on blocks or jackstand (A) under front axle, making sure there is no load shift.

IMPORTANT:
Wheel nuts must be clean and free of lube before installing. Torque value is for clean, dry nuts. Lubricating reduces friction and overloads the nuts.
3.
Tighten nuts and bolts according to recommended torque sequence.

4.
Position wheel and install nuts with bushing (A). Tighten nuts to the specified torque.
