Remove and Install Side Knife Blades (If Equipped)

1. CAUTION:

   Some Parts Removed For Clarity

   A - Cap Screw and Lock Nut (2 used per blade)

   B - Blade (3 used per side)

   Avoid possible serious injury. Set park brake, shut OFF engine, remove key, and wait for side knives to stop rotating before replacing blades.

   Avoid possible serious injury from sharp edges. Wear gloves when handling blades.

   Remove and retain cap screws and lock nuts (A) and discard blades (B).

2. Install new blade with serrated edge facing away from side knife plate. Tighten to specification.

   Item	Measurement	Specification
   Triangle Style Side Knife Blade Cap Screws	Torque	34 N·m (25 lb.-ft.)

3. Repeat for remaining blades.
