Check Final Drive Oil Level

1. IMPORTANT:

   A - Drain Plug

   B - Level Check Plug

   C - Fill Plug

   Clean final drive cover before removing plugs.

   Be careful not to lose O-rings on plugs.

   NOTE: It is recommended that the final drive oil level be checked every 50 hours.

   Check oil level when oil is cold.

   Rotate final drive until drain plug (A) is at six o'clock position and level check plug (B) is at four o’clock position.

2. Remove check plug to see if the oil is even with base of opening.

3. Remove fill plug (C), if necessary, and add oil until oil begins to flow from check plug opening.

4. IMPORTANT: Overfilling a final drive is as harmful as low oil. Too much oil can cause overheating and damage the final drive.

   Wait until the oil stops flowing from opening and reinstall check and fill plug.

5. Repeat process on opposite side of machine.

6. If removed, tighten plugs to specification.
