Cab Tilt Procedure

Raising the cab

1.

   A - Pump Handle

   B - Cab Pump

   C - Cab Tilt Lever

   D - Raised Position

   Park machine on level surface.

2. Completely lower base cutter.

   NOTE: If base cutter must be in raised position, safety stops MUST be engaged.

3. Completely lower crop dividers and topper.

4. Engage topper boom safety stop and lower boom onto stop.

5. Shut OFF engine, remove key, and install lockout tag.

   IMPORTANT: Avoid damaging windows and doors on cab.

   • Verify that ALL loose objects are removed from cab before tilting.
   • Remove all objects from refrigerator (if equipped).
   • Verify that windows and doors are tightly closed and latched.
   
   

6. Open left-hand engine compartment door. Locate and remove pump handle (A) from inside left-hand door. Insert pump handle into cab pump (B).

7. IMPORTANT: Cab tilt lever must be in lower position whenever not in use.

   Turn cab tilt lever (C) to raise position (D).

   CAUTION: Do not leave the cab partially tilted.

   A - Cab Safety Stop

   Operate pump handle to tilt cab. Be sure to tilt cab completely until cab safety stop (A) falls into place.

Lowering the Cab

   B - Lower Position

   C - Pump

   Verify that area beneath cab is clear of personnel and equipment.

2. IMPORTANT: Cab tilt lever must be in lower position whenever not in use.

   Turn cab tilt lever (A) to lower position (B).

3. Insert pump handle into pump (C).

   A - Release Cord

   Pull cab tilt lock release cord (A) and operate pump until cab is completely seated.
