Engine Accessory/Fan Drive/Air Compressor Belt—Replacing (S680 and S690)

1. CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

   Pull lockout pin (A) and rotate handrail (B) up until handrail locks into place to open separator access cover (C).

2. Remove cap screws (A) and shield (B).

3. Loosen nuts (A) and remove rotary screen drive belt (B).

4. Pull latches (A) and open rotary screen door (B).

5. Remove nuts (A) and loosen hose clamps (B).

   C - Air Duct

6. Lay air duct (C) out of the way.

7. Remove shield (A).

   B - Fan Drive Belt

   C - Fan Blades

   D - Air Compressor/Engine Accessory Belt Tensioner Arm

   E - Air Compressor/Engine Accessory Belt

   Use a breaker bar to relieve belt tension from tensioner arm (A).

9. Remove engine fan drive belt (B) and work belt over fan blades (C) to remove.

10. Use a breaker bar to relieve belt tension from tensioner arm (D).

11. Remove air compressor/engine accessory belt (E) and work belt over fan blades (C).

12. Install belts in reverser order.

    NOTE: First install air compressor/engine accessory belt and after install fan drive belt.

13. Install rotary screen drive belt (B).

14. Tighten nuts (A) until washer is positioned between end of gauge and bottom of step.

15. Install previously removed shield (front side).

16. Close separator access cover and lower handrail.

17. Install previously removed shield (rear side) and air duct.

18. Close and latch rotary screen door.
