1. Engine Valve Clearance - Have engine valve clearance checked and adjusted if necessary, by your John Deere dealer.

2. Final Drives Oil (both sides) - Remove drain plug (C) to drain. Remove the fill plug (A) to refill until oil level is within 12 mm (1/2 in) of the bottom check hole (B).

3. Hydrostatic Motor Seal - See your John Deere dealer to replace the seal (D) from the hydrostatic motor (E).

4. Main Engine Gear Case Oil (Non-ProDrive™ Machines) - Drain at plugs (F). Refill and check oil level at dipstick (G).

5. NOTE: Clean hydraulic reservoir area to prevent system contamination and refer to Specifications section for oil capacity before draining.

   Hydraulic/Hydrostatic Reservoir Oil - Open drain valve (H) to drain oil. Close valve once oil is drained. Remove cap (I) and fill hydraulic reservoir until oil level is at top of sight glass (J) with the feeder house fully lowered.
