Chopper Drive Speeds—Changing—Type B

CAUTION: Shut OFF engine set parking brake and remove key.

A - Quick Lock Pins

B - Cap Screw

C - Remove shield

Raise chopper fully.

Remove quick lock pins (A).

Remove cap screw (B).

Remove shield (C).

A - Chopper Switch

Raise chopper assembly fully with switch (A).

For High Speed - Grain (1900 rpm): Install belt on outside sheave grooves (A), idler (B) and outside sheave grooves (C).

For Low Speed - Corn (1500 rpm): Install belt on inside sheave grooves (A), idler (B), and inside sheave grooves (C).

For Neutral Speed: Remove belt from inside sheave grooves (A), idler (B), and inside sheave grooves (C).

Lower chopper.

NOTE: Make sure that the belt is aligned and in the right place.

Install chopper shield (A) and verify the belt tension (B).
