The following checklist is a reminder of very important information which should be conveyed to the customer at the time the baler is delivered. Check off each item as it is fully explained to the customer.
[ ] John Deere warranty.
[ ] Safe and correct operation and service.
[ ] Daily and periodic inspections.
[ ] Servicing machine regularly and correctly.
[ ] Advise to use safety chain.
[ ] Explain correct ASAE standard dimensions for PTO hookup.
[ ] Give the Operator's manual to the customer and encourage customer to read entire manual.
[ ] Advise customer of safety precautions that must be observed while using this hay tedder.
[ ] Review recommended procedures for attaching to or detaching from tractor. (See Attaching and Detaching section.)

[ ] Make customer aware of all optional equipment offered for this machine. (See Attachments section.)
[ ] Recommended lubricants. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

[ ] Review all adjustments. (See Service sections.)
[ ] Recommended machine storage. (See Storage section.)
[ ] Have customer record machine serial number in the Specifications section.
