After the hay tedder has been completely set up, make sure it is in good running condition before delivering to the customer. The following checklist is a reminder of important points to inspect. Check off each item after it is found satisfactory or after the correct adjustment is made.
[ ] Hay tedder has been assembled correctly.
[ ] Check tightness of all nuts and bolts.
[ ] Check all hydraulic hoses and connections for oil leaks.
[ ] Machine lubricated and gear case level checked. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

[ ] Decals intact and legible.
[ ] Safety chain is attached.
[ ] Tire pressure(s) checked.
[ ] Check operating functions of any optional equipment installed.
