Detaching Hay Tedder From Tractor-754

causym CAUTION: To avoid bodily injury or machine damage whenever an implement is detached, put transmission in PARK position and check the full range of hitch for interference, binding, or PTO separation.

To prevent personal injury caused by unexpected movement:

1. Park machines on a level surface
2. Engage tractor parking brake and/or place transmission in "Park"
3. Disengage PTO
4. Shut off tractor engine and remove key

1. Remove snap pin (F) and turn stand (E) to park position. Install snap pin (F) to lock stand into position.

2. Remove PTO shield safety chain (D) from drawbar (A).

3. Lift PTO shield (C) on tractor and disengage latch pin (B). Remove PTO from shaft and place on support (top of park stand).

4. Remove safety chain (G).

5. Remove pin from tractor drawbar and detach tedder from tractor.
