Replacing Bale Shape Sensor

1. Engage gate lock and raise tension arm.

2. Turn monitor-controller OFF. Turn tractor key to OFF position. Remove key.

3. To replace sensor remove rolling thread cap screw (B). Rotate shield (A) away from baler.

4. Disconnect wiring connector (A).

5. Remove parts (A-E).

D-Washer (2 used)
E-Mounting Screw (2 used)

6. Install new sensor in reverse order of removal using the following special instructions:

  • Make sure O-ring is inserted in groove (A).
  • Adjust sensor. (See ADJUSTING BALE SHAPE SENSOR [CHANNELS 07 and 09] in this section.)
