To correct net feeding or knife problems:
1.
Disengage tractor PTO, shut off tractor engine and disconnect monitor-controller power plug from tractor convenience outlet.
2.
Open net wrap cover.
3.
Pull lever (A) out and up to disengage roller brake pad (B).
4.
Inspect brake pad and belt for wear and damage; replace if necessary.
IMPORTANT:
Do not cut net wrap material from rubber feed roll. Any knife cuts in the rubber roll covering may result in more frequent wrapping around the rolls and may require roller replacement.
5.
Move net wrap roll off rubber roll and on to loading bracket. Cut net between net and rubber roll.
6.
Remove net from between or around rolls.
IMPORTANT:
Rolls should be free of all net wrap and foreign material.
7.
Check rubber roll for any sign of sticky/tacky fell.
NOTE:
If any stickiness is felt, clean with soap and water, rinse and dry completely.
When dry, apply 100% baby powder (NON CORN STARCH) liberally to entire roller.
8.
Thread net wrap material. (See THREADING NET WRAP AND ROUTING THROUGH ROLLS in Preparing Baler for Net Wrap section.)
IMPORTANT:
Do not feed excessive material between rolls, this may cause net wrap to wrap on rolls.
9.
Engage brake lever. Close cover.
