Understanding Optional Slip Clutch Alert System
A sensor (A) on PTO driveline measures input speed of the PTO driveline before main clutch of the baler and compares this measurement to output speed of the pickup slip clutch determined by a second sensor (B). Bale Trak Pro monitor-controller compares these speeds, and if output speed drops below 10% of its calculated operating speed for more than one (1) second, then slip alarm is activated. This system informs the operator if either of the two clutches is slipping.
Speed compensation of Wrapping
This system also provides automatic compensation for twine and net application when wrapping at less than rated PTO speed by using actual PTO speed to adjust wrapping. Example: If two wraps of net or a 4 in. twine spacing is set in the monitor and wrapping is done at less than full PTO speed, two net wraps and 4-in. twine spacing will be maintained.
