Adjusting Initial Length of Pickup Drive Belt Idler Spring

1. Remove access panel (A).

C-Jam Nut

  

IMPORTANT: If spring assembly has been removed, the initial length of spring must be adjusted before adjusting the belt idler.

2. Adjust nut (A) until distance (B) is within specifications.

Specification

Drive Belt Idler Spring -Initial Length 215 mm (8-1/2 in.)

3. Tighten jam nut (C) against nut (A).

4. Install spring assembly on baler.

5. Adjust pickup drive belt idler. (See ADJUSTING PICKUP DRIVE BELT IDLER in this section.)
