1.
Check and fill gear case to dipstick level. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)
2.
Remove heavy oil from chains and lubricate with 30W or heavier oil.
3.
Lubricate complete machine. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.) This will force any collected moisture out of the bearings.
4.
Check tires for correct air pressure.
5.
Tighten all hardware.

6.
Check belt splice pins for damage. Replace as necessary.
7.
If equipped with fire extinguisher, follow manufacturers recommendation for inspection and maintenance. Refill, pressurize and test the fire extinguisher.
8.
Review operator's manual and check adjustments.
9.
Check function of oversize bale alarm. (See ADJUSTING BALE SIZE SWITCH in Service section.)
