Threading Needles-Wire Baler

IMPORTANT: Check wire pulleys frequently to be sure they spin. 1. Thread wire from right-hand coil through guide (C); then through front hole in main frame.2. Continue threading wire around front left-hand wire pulley (D) inside of guides. 3. With the needles in home position, thread wire under left-hand center wire pulley (E) and over left-hand needle pulley (F). |
4. Pull wire back and loop around needle frame. Secure with a twist (G). 5. Thread left-hand wire through guide (B) and rear hole in main frame. Repeat Steps 2-4 through right-hand pulleys and needle. 6. Trip measuring arm and turn flywheel until needles are all the way up-the wire is held by the grippers (A), and the needles returned to the home position. 7. Remove loose wire from needle frame. |
CAUTION:
Disengage PTO and shut off engine before threading needles.
