Adjusting Grippers

1. Adjust grippers using shims (A) to provide a positive shearing action on the wire.

2. Loosen cap screw (B) and remove lock nut from bottom of gripper pivot pin. Pivot twister assembly upward to shim.

3. Remove pivot pin and install necessary shims on top of gripper arm (C) and twister mounting plate.

4. Install and tighten pivot pin. Secure using lock nut.

5. Return twister assembly to original position and secure using cap screw.
