Adjusting Feeder Finger and Main Drive Chains

1. Adjust tension on all roller chains by loosening idler mounting cap screws and pressing idler against chain with pressure per specification.

Specification

Idler-to-Chain Pressure -Force 2.3-4.5 kg (5-10 lb force)

2. Tighten idler mounting cap screw.

3. Turn baler by hand through one complete stroke and check chain tension.

4. Repeat Steps 1-3 if readjustment is necessary.
