Adjusting Bale Counter

1. Adjust bale counter (A) with the measuring arm stop (B) against sheave, and spring (C) loose (no tension). With arm in trip position (fully raised), the bale counter spring should be extended as specified, and bale counter should register next highest number.

Specification

Bale Counter Spring Extension -Distance (Approximate) 48 mm (1-7/8 in.)

2. If spring is not extended and bale counter does not register, loosen screw (D) on bale counter arm (E) and adjust arm downward.

3. Run baler through tying cycle. If counter does not register, repeat Steps 1 and 2.

NOTE: To reset bale counter, hold bale counter arm in home position and turn reset knob. If arm is not in home position, the reset knob will not turn.
