Adjusting Roll Spacing

IMPORTANT: Roll stops control clearance between upper and lower rolls. Rolls should never be adjusted to allow contact during operation or serious damage to machine may occur.

Dirt buldup on rolls can cause roll contact and damge the machine. Remove dirt buildup regularly or increase roll gap so dirt buildup will not cause the conditoner rolls to hit.

1. Put tongue in operating position and lower machine to the ground.

2. Open right-hand shield. Pull pin (A) and lift idler (B) to release reel drive belt tension.
