Check level of lubricant. Fill with John Deere EXTREME-GARD ™ or GL-5 Gear Lubricant to 64 to 89 mm (2-1/2 to 3-1/2 in.) below fill plug (A).

Main Drive Gear Case

Lower machine.

Check oil level with dipstick (A). Oil must show on dipstick but not above indicator marks. Fill as necessary with John Deere HY-GARD ® .

Gear case capacity is 0.6 L (1.27 pt).

Wheel Bearings

Remove wheels; clean, repack, and adjust bearings.
