Installing Knife

causym CAUTION: To reduce risk of personal injury, always wear gloves when handling knives.

1. Slide knife into place.

2. Insert drive pin (B) through drive arm into knife head.

3. Install clamp bolt (A) and nut. Tighten to 160 lb-ft (217 Nm).

4. Adjust hold-downs for more efficient cutting as parts wear. (See Adjusting Non-Clog Hold-Downs or Adjusting Regular Knife Hold-Downs in this section.)
