Installing Reel Speed-Up Sprocket

1. Pull pin (A) and lift idler (B). Release pin (A) on top of bracket to hold idler up.

2. Loosen three nuts (A) and bolt (B).

3. Remove cap screw (A) and sprocket (B).

4. Install slow-down sprocket. Fasten with cap screw (A). Tighten to 475 Nm (350 lb-ft).

5. Tighten bolt (B) until there is 8 to 12 mm (5/16 to 1/2 in.) deflection in chain. (See Adjusting Reel Drive Chain in this section.)

6. Tighten three nuts (A).

7. Adjust reel drive belt. (See Adjusting Reel Drive Belt in this section.)
