Accessing Cutterbar Area for Service

1. Raise platform.

2. Disengage all power. Shut off tractor engine.

3. Engage cylinder locks.

4. Open right hand shield.

5. Release tension on reel drive belt by pulling pin (A) and lifting idler (B). Release pin (A) on top of bracket.

6. Pull pin (A) on left-hand end of tooth pipe using "T" handle.

7. Rotate tooth pipe from home position to stop (B).

8. Put tooth pipe above cutterbar by turning reel by hand.

9. After servicing cutterbar, return tooth pipe to home position.

10. Tension reel drive belt by pulling pin and lowering idler.

11. Close right-hand shield.

12. Lower cylinder locks and lower platform.
