Adjusting Raking and Windrow Width

The raking width is determined by the windrow width setting and the angle of raking wheels.

NOTE: Each rake wheel arm has a positioning turnbuckle.

To change rake wheel angle, loosen jam nut (A) and rotate turnbuckle (B) to increase or decrease angle.

Changing raking width will also change the windrow width. Adjust windrow width as desired.

The rake can be set for windrow widths of 1.22 to 1.83 m (4 to 6 ft).

A windrow of proper width will result in more uniform bales. The overall windrow width should be the same size or slightly wider than the baler bale chamber.

To adjust windrow width:

1. Loosen U-bolts (A).

2. Slide pivot frame and adjust turnbuckle (B) to desired width.

3. Tighten U-bolts (A). Repeat on opposite side.
